The end of the book was an odd ending. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention but it seemed to end very quickly.
The old man and the sea was a good book. It had a greater value to a meaning that meant if someone tries hard enough to accomplish something he or she can do it. My reaction to the book was only that it was a very interesting and very descriptive book. I am not into fishing anymore, so I was not excited to read the book but after the class finished it I liked it. It had a moral to the story, to always try your hardest. The old man put everything into catching the fish and he succeeded.
I am curious what will become of the boy in his future. Will he become a great fisherman or will he jus be a casual fisherman. The old man, will he die from his struggle to catch the fish or heal and retire from the fishing. I also wonder if the old man will make it fine and take the boy as his and fish with the boy until he dies. I wonder what people would have thought more of the fish the old man caught. If the fish would go up in a museum or jus be left to go back out to sea.
