i have picked between these three edgar allen poe. i like his darkness and use of vocabulary. i also get many images from some of his work.
so far in poetry i think i have the understanding of it down. i know i need to look for things that stand out and don’t stand out. then i look and try to understand what is possible to get out of the poem. anything that seems to be hidden i look for, or words that are unique and stand out. i try to also get involved in the discussions when it is possible. i like talking in groups because it opens the poem up and gets more than one point of view of the poem.
